Post 3 — Psychological Safety Fuels Learning and Performance. Candor is the cheapest accelerator you haven’t fully used. In teams with higher psychological safety, people speak up, discuss errors, and experiment more—and performance improves via those learning behaviors. Leaders set the tone: when bad news arrives, reply with “Thanks for the alert. What do you need to fix it?” and mean it. Also, measure it: a short quarterly pulse on “can we admit mistakes, ask for help, challenge the plan?” will tell you if the safety is present.
